Introduction

Contains highly conserved repeating units usually ending with Trp-Asp. Found in eukaryotes, but not prokaryotes. Involved in signal transduction, RNA processing, gene regulation, development, vesicular traffic, regulation of cytoskeletal assembly & the cell cycle.
