• acetylation alters nucleosome - DNA interactions & positively regulates transcription
• ATPase & helicase activities contributed by association of RUVBL1 & RUVBL2 with EP400
• NuA4 complex interacts with MYC & the adenovirus E1A protein
• may be involved in:
  • oncogene & proto-oncogene mediated growth induction
  • tumor suppressor mediated growth arrest
  • replicative senescence
  • apoptosis
  • DNA repair
