Pathology
- interferes with cAMP-dependent activity of CREB
- binding to:
- adenovirus E1a alone initiates transformed foci in cell cultures, but fails to sustain these foci which undergo apoptosis
- E1b when coexpressed with E1a, efficiently induces transformation[2]
- over-expression of bcl-2 can also cooperate with E1a in inducing transformation[2]
