• phosphorylation by HIPK2 on Ser-428 induces proteasomal degradation
• can form homodimers or heterodimers of CTBP1 & CTBP2
• interacts with HIPK2 & ZNF217
• interacts with PRDM16
  • represses white adipose tissue-specific genes expression (putative)
• interacts with PNN, NRIP1 & WIZ
