• palmitoylation of Cys-26 & Cys-29 is required for lipid raft targeting & efficient phosphorylation
• interacts indirectly with:
  • CBL, SOS, VAV, SLP-76
• activation of killer inhibitory receptors disrupts interaction of PLCG1 with LAT & blocks target cell-induced activation of PLC, (dephosphorylation of LAT ?)
