• methylation at Lys-300 attenuates transcriptional activity
• interacts with ZNF260 (putative)
• interacts with homeobox domain of NKX2-5 through its C-terminal Zn+2 finger
• interaction with JARID2 represses its ability to activate transcription of ANF (putative)
• interacts with NFATC4 & LMCD1
• forms a complex with CDK9, CCNT1/cyclin-T1, & EP300 that stimulates hypertrophy in cardiomyocytes
