Function
Production of cytokines:
in addition to GM-CSF, IL-2, IL-3, IL-10, IL-13 produced by both Th1 & Th2 cells.
Additional functions:
- executes cell-mediated immune responses
- delayed hypersensitivity
- macrophage activation
- immune response to viruses & bacteria
