Genetics
- chromosomal translocation t(11;19)(q13;p13) involving FSTL3 with CCDN1 is found in a case of B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia
- translocation t(14;19)(q32;q13.1) involving BCL3 with immunoglobulin gene regions is associated with B-CLL
- chromosomal translocation t(X;11)(q21;q23) involving BRWD3 with ARHGAP20, does not result in fusion transcripts but disrupts both genes
- BRWD3 is down-regulated in a majority of the B-cell CLL cases
- may be associated with defects in ATM gene
- chromosomal translocation t(8;12)(q24;q22) involving MYC with BTG1 may be a cause of B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia
