• enhanced T-cell proliferation induced by anti-CD3
• lectin that binds to the terminal carbohydrate Gal-alpha(1,3)Gal & N-acetyllactosamine epitopes
• binds to CLEC2D/LLT1
• inhibits interferon-gamma secretion
