• phosphorylation on Ser-45 enhances sumoylation on Lys-40 thus repressing transcriptional activity
• binds TLE1, PNRC1 & PNRC2

• interacts with NRIP1, NCOA1 & NCOR2

Inhibition:

• 4-hydroxytamoxifen & diethylstilbestrol act as antagonists & deactivate ESRRG
