Epidemiology
onset/death usually fifth decade
Pathology
- neuronal loss/gliosis
- most prominant:
- less prominant
- no plaques, tangles Lewy bodies or amyloid
Clinical manifestations
- parkinsonism
- dystonia
- dementia
- pyramidal dysfunction
- frontal lobe release signs
- urinary incontinence
- ocular motility abnormalities
