Function
- Nck adaptor protein
- associates with Tyr-phosphorylated growth factor receptors or their cellular substrates
- maintains low levels of EIF2S1 phosphorylation by promoting its dephosphorylation by PP1
- phosphorylated on Ser & Tyr residues
- associates with BLNK, PLCG1, VAV1 & NCK1 (B-cell antigen receptor-dependent)
- interacts with SOCS7
- part of a complex containing PPP1R15B, PP1 & NCK1
- interacts with RALGPS1
- may interact with phosphorylated IRS-1
- binding via SH2 domain to Tyr-phosphate (Tyr-751) of PDGF receptor-beta
Structure
- contains 1 SH2 domain
- contains 3 SH3 domains
Compartment
cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum
