Pharmacokinetics
- inhibits cyt P450 3A4 & cyt P450 2D6
Drug interactions
- may increase levels of any drug metabolized by cyt P450 3A4 or cyt P450 2D6 (i.e. macrolides, Ca+ channel blockers, metoprolol, antiviral protease inhibitors, statins)
Mechanism of action
