Management
- patients with hypertension & heart failure should receive sn ACE inhibitor or ARB, beta-blocker, aldosterone receptor antagonist, & thiazide diuretic for blood pressure control or loop diuretic for volume control[1]
- avoid nondihydropyridine calcium-channel blockers, clonidine, moxonidine, & hydralazine without nitrate
- use NSAIDs with caution[1]
