• no significant systemic absorption
• Ki H1 receptor 1.3 nM

Adverse effects

• headache (11%)
• others (< 5%)
  • abnormal dreams, asthenia, bad taste, blurred vision, burning or stinging, corneal infiltrates, dermatitis, dry eyes, foreign body sensation, hyperemia, keratitis, pruritus, rhinitis, sinusitis, tearing

Toxicity:

• somnolence & malaise after oral ingestion (reports) treatment is supportive

• drug adverse effects of H1 receptor antagonists
