Management

• no cure
• corticosteroids or immunosuppressive drugs may relieve symptoms in selected patients.
• prognosis
  • variable
  • most patients respond to treatment
  • symptoms may resolve after a few months
  • slowly progressive in many patients
  • complications may be fatal in a few %
