Introduction
Non-fluorinated topical glucocorticoid.
Indications
- adjunctive therapy for inflammation & pruritus in acute & chronic, glucocorticoid-responsive dermatoses
- cutaneous T-cell lymphoma[2]
Contraindications
- do not use on eyelid
Dosage
Cream: 0.05% (15g, 30 g, 60g)
Ointment: 0.05% (15g, 60g)
Adverse effects
- uncommon (< 1%)
- burning, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acne, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae, miliaria
- drug adverse effects of glucocorticoids
- drug adverse effects of topical glucocorticoids
- drug adverse effects of immunosuppressive agents
