Introduction
A family of inflammatory cytokines including:
Pathology
- linked to multiple sclerosis, psoriasis & other autoimmune disorders[4]
Pharmacology
- IL17 antibody (ixekizumab) is effective in treatment of psoriasis[1]
- effect may be mediated through IL17A since antibody to IL17A receptor (brodalumab) is also effective in treatment of psoriasis[2]
