• may be involved in the regulation of the immune response induced by T-cells
• interaction with TEK
• phosphorylated on Tyr in response to insulin, IGF1 or RET stimulation

• PTB domain mediates receptor interaction (putative)
• belongs to the DOK family, type B subfamily
• contains 1 IRS-type PTB domain
• contains 1 PH domain

Expression

• widely expressed
• high expression in skeletal muscle, heart, kidney & liver
• expressed in both resting &activated peripheral blood T-cells
