Indications
- useful in conjunction with other tests in evaluation & management of androgen disorders
- monitoring of glucocorticoid treatment of congenital adrenal hyperplasia
Reference interval
- male (adult): 75-205 ng/dL (2.6-7.2 nmol/L)
- female (adult): 85-275 ng/dL (3.0-9.6 nmol/L)
- prepurtal: 8-50 ng/dL (0.3-1.7 nmol/L)
