  • interacts with the N-terminal zinc-finger of GATA4, GATA5 GATA6
  • these heterodimers can both activate or repress transcriptional activity, depending on cell & promoter context
• gonadal differentiation, via regulating expression of SRY
• interacts with retinoid nuclear receptor RXRA when ligand bound
• interaction with corepressor CTBP2
• CCHC-type zinc fingers 1, 5, 6 & 8 directly bind to GATA-type zinc fingers
