Introduction
A diet consisting of fish, eggs & dairy products but otherwise eats a vegetarian diet.
Notes
- lowers all-cause mortality[2]
- benefit greater in men
- pescovegetarian diet marginally better than vegan diet
- reduced risk of colorectal cancer (RR=0.57)[3]
- lowers risk of ischemic heart disease (RR=0.87) vs meat eaters[4]
- pescovegetarian does not increase risk of stroke[4]
