Etiology
- excessive dynamic airway collapse of the posterior membrane
- tracheobronchomalacia
Clinical manifestations
- may coexist with or mimic asthma, COPD or bronchiectasis
- cough, dyspnea, sputum production
- recurrent respiratory tract infections
