• found in a complex, at least composed of BLM, RAD51 & SPIDR
  • complex formation is mediated by SPIDR
• interacts (via C-terminus region) with BLM
• interacts with RAD51
• interacts (via the C-terminus region) with FIGNL1 (via N-terminus one-half region)

• together with BLM, is redistributed in discrete nuclear DNA damage-induced foci following hydroxyurea or camptothecin treatment

• up-regulated in vascular endothelial cells treated with IL4
