Site compares nursing home's performance with National & regional average performances.
Site contains information about nursing facilities only
Most of the quality measures reflect a sample of residents' conditions in the 7 days prior to inspection.
Quality measures are generated from the Minimum Data Set
Inspections are mandated at least every 15 months
The five star rating system was created to help consumers, their families & providers compare the quality of care & services of nursing homes
