Epidemiology
- middle-aged women, generally postmenopausal
Pathology
- multiple tender lipomas arising in adulthood
Clinical manifestations
- multiple painful or tender circumscribed or diffuse fatty deposits
- obesity
- easy bruisability, ecchymoses
- neurosis
- rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, diabetes, bloating, constipation, fatigue, weakness, joint aches[2]
