Introduction
This superfamily of receptors conveys their signals through interactions with Janus kinases. Binding of cytokine to receptor induces oligomerization of receptor & enhances affinity of cyto- plasmic domain for Janus kinase. Cytokine receptors may also directly stimulate src family of tyrosine kinases.
