- not metabolized
- does not cross blood brain barrier
Adverse effects
- gastroparesis
- lower incidence of dry mouth than oxybutinin[3]

Mechanism of action
- primarily antagonizes muscarinic M2 & M3 receptors
- inhibits bladder contraction & urge to void
