- enzyme complex generating the oxidative burst in which electrons are transported from NADPH to molecular oxygen, generating reactive oxidant intermediates
Pathology
- mutations in the genes for p22phox, p47phox, p67phox & gp91phox are associated with chronic granulomatous disease[3]
