- role in endotoxin tolerance
- negative regulator in toll-like receptor signaling
- interacts with TRAF6

Expression
- LPS, IFNB1 and IFNG increase protein levels in RAW cells, IFNB1 is the most potent inducer
- IL4 & IL10 do not induce expression in RAW cells
- LPS does not induce expression in the presence of IL4 or IL10
