• palmitoylated (putative)
• phosphorylation & subsequent interaction with 14-3-3 proteins inhibits GAP activity
• heterodimer with GNG5
• interacts with RGS7BP, regulating subcellular location of the RGS7/GNG5 heterodimer
• interacts with 14-3-3 protein Tau & SNAPIN
