Pathology

• chromosomal translocation t(5;14)(q33;q32) involving TRIP11 with PDGFRB may be a cause of acute myelogenous leukemia
• the fusion protein may be involved in clonal evolution of leukemia & eosinophilia
• defects in TRIP11 are the cause of achondrogenesis type 1A
