Introduction
A pivot type of synovial joint.
- allows the radius to rotate within the anular ligament of radius without binding, stretching or tearing the synovial capsule.
Articulation
- with the radial notch of the ulna & the anular ligament.
Muscles
Innervation
Musculocutaneous & radial nerves
- responsible for supination
- responsible for pronation
