Origin

• lateral cord of the brachial plexus (C6)

Innervation

• elbow flexors in the anterior compartment
  • coracobrachialis
  • brachialis
  • biceps brachii

Course

• passes through the coracobrachialis, then inferiorly between the brachialis & biceps

Branches

• lateral cutaneous nerve of the forearm
