Introduction
Interactions:
- HIV1 infection does not seem to have an effect on risk of COVID-19, or outcome of COVID-19 infection [1-10]
- HIV1-seropositive people are not more likely to be diagnosed with COVID-19 than HIV1-seronegative people, but they have poorer clinical outcomes[11]
- hospitalization & in-hospital mortality higher among HIV1-positive patients[11]
- HIV1 infected COVID-19 patients with CD4 counts < 200/uL need consultation with infectious disease prior to release from isolation[12]
