Indications

• symptomatic relief from symptoms of alleregies
  • allergic rhinitis, allergic, conjunctivitis, sneezing, atopy
• symptomatic relief influenza & cold symptoms
  • nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, sinusitis, headache, cough, fever

Contraindications

• severe hypertension
• coronary artery disease
• concurrent MAO inhibitor therapy

Dosage

• adults & children > 12 years: 1 tab PO every 12 hours

chlorpheniramine maleate 12 mg & phenylpropanolamine HCl 75 mg

chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg & phenylpropanolamine HCl 60 mg

Adverse effects

• not common (1-10%)
  • hypertension, sedation, nervousness
