Indications

• treatment of cough associated with common cold, influenza, bronchitis or sinusitis

Contraindications

• not effective in treatment of cough due to smoking or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• use of MAO inhibitor within 14 days

Dosage

• 6 mg/mL oral suspension

• hypersensitivity

• palpitations, tachycardia, cardiac arrhythmia
• confusion
• hallucinations
• respiratory suppression
• nausea, vomiting
• dyspepsia
• dizziness
• drowsiness
• insomnia
