Introduction
A capillary network that carries hypothalamic hormones from the median eminence of the hypothalamus to the anterior pituitary.
These hormones include:
- thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH)
- corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF)
- gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH)
- growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH)
