Introduction

A sheet or band of fibrous tissue that support organs & hold them in place.

Fascia is found in two regions:

  • Superficial fascia:
    • the continuous sheet of tissue that underlies the skin & contains adipose tissue to insulate & protect the skin.
  • Deep fascia:
