Introduction
The fascia covering the temporalis muscle. It is composed of two layers; the lamina superficialis & the lamina profundus. Both layers attach superiorly to the superior temporal line. Inferiorly, the lamina superficialis attaches to the lateral surface of the zygomatic arch (process); the lamina profundus attaches to the medial surface of the zygomatic arch.
