Pathology
- disease in the dominant parietal lobe
- disorders of language (especially alexia)
- Gerstmann's syndrome
- bimanual astereognosis (tactile agnosia)
- bilateral ideation or ideomotor apraxia
- disease in the non-dominant parietal lobe
- agitation
- inattentiveness
- delusional thinking
- visual hallucinations (rare)
- autonomic hyperactivity (common)
- contralateral deficits may be mild or absent
