cingulate sulcus

Introduction

The fissure on the medial surface of the cerebral hemisphere bounding the upper surface of the cingulate gyrus. The anterior part is called the pars subfrontalis; the posterior ascending continuation is considered the marginal sulcus or pars marginalis of the cingulate sulcus.
