Introduction
Formation of a depression at the apex of a papule, vesicle or pustule.
Etiology
- umbilicated papules or nodules may occur with molluscum contagiosum
- umbilicated hyperkeratotic papules or nodules may occur with reactive perforating collagenosis
- umbilicated papules 1-3 mm in diameter with telangiectasia may occur with sebaceous hyperplasia
- pruritic, umbilicated, erythematous vesicles with erosion & crusting may occur with eczema herpeticum
