Introduction
Tradenames: Melanex, Eldopaque-Forte, Eldoquine-Forte, Solaquin-Forte.
Indications
- dyschromia, melasma[5]
- gradual bleaching of hyperpigmented skin conditions
Contraindications
Caution: use sunscreen & protective clothing
Dosage
Hyperpigmentation: apply BID
Cream: (Eldopaque-Forte, Solaquin-Forte) 4% (30 g)
Gel: (Solaquin-Forte): 4% (30 g)
Solution: (Melanex) 3% (30 g)
Adverse effects
- not common (1-10%)
- dermatitis, dryness, erythema, stinging, irritation, inflammatory reaction, sensitization, ochronosis
