Etiology
- may occur after infection or injury
- may occur as allergic reaction to scabies mite
Epidemiology
- infants & children < 3 years of age
- occasionally seen in older children & adults[1]

Management
- treatment unnecessary
- topical glucocorticoids
- oral antihistamines
- dapsone for difficult cases[4]
