Epidemiology
- most over 50 years old
Pathology
- high grade sarcoma
- defined by production of malignant osteoid
- not attached to skeleton
- most occur in extremities
- also breast, retroperitoneum, bladder, other visceral organs
Differential diagnosis
- resembles malignant fibrous histiocytoma
