Structure
- collectively CEA is a heterogenous group of glycoproteins with at least 13 different genetically-controlled forms
- CEA contains about 800 amino acid residues
- carbohydrate content is 50-85%
Expression
Pathology
- CEAD-14 monoclonal antibody recognizes only a subset of breast carcinomas, mostly high grade.
