Epidemiology
Pathology
- 75% associated with HPV
- 40% of invasive vulvar carcinoma associated with HPV
Clinical manifestations
- vulvar itching is the most common presenting complaint
- lesions are generally unifocal
- lesions may be ulcerated, friable or indurated
Laboratory
biopsy of persistent vulvar lesions
Management
- excision
- prophylaxis: HPV vaccine
