Function
- component of the IRAK1-dependent TNFRSF1A signaling pathway that leads to NF-kappa-B activation & is required for cell survival
- acts by enhancing RELA transcriptional activity
- interacts with IRAK1 & RELA
- interacts with HSPA8 & HSPA1 (putative)
- phosphorylation at Ser-56 &/or Ser-62 is required for full activity
- phosphorylated on at least one of Ser-235, Thr-237, Ser-242 & Thr-247 upon TNF-alpha activation, which favors nuclear translocation (putative)
Structure
- intrinsically disordered region interacts with HSPA1 & HSPA8 (putative)
- belongs to the IRAK1BP1 family
