• over-expression in T-cell line inhibits anti-CD3 induced apoptosis

Structure

• contains amino acids 1-188 of bcl-xL with different 47 amino acids at C terminus; this would clip out 1/2 of the BH2 domain & the C-terminal transmembrane domain

Expression

• expressed primarily in T-cells
